The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change

Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic therapy is a therapeutic approach that helps people understand how their past experiences and unconscious mind shape their current feelings and behaviors. The goals of psychodynamic therapy are client self-awareness and understanding of the influence of the past on present behavior. This therapeutic technique can help with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and addictions.
We help you become aware of your behavior patterns, defenses, and inner struggles. The idea is that once your inner struggles are brought to light, your maladaptive behaviors and negative feelings will subside. Any issues that arise in treatment with your therapist may reflect some of the issues in your life.
Good candidates for psychodynamic therapy are interested in getting to the root of their thoughts and feelings. They are willing to openly discuss their emotions with a therapist and open to approaches such as free association.
